The Premières Côtes de Bordeaux, formerly called "Grandes Côtes", owe their name to their prime location on the hilltops overlooking Bordeaux. The region soon became widely known as the mecca of Bordelais viticulture.

Acacia, vanilla, peach, linden, fresh fruit...the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux wines offer an array of aromas that will surprise the nose as well as the palate. Planted at the foot and on the slopes of the hills on the right bank of the Garonne river, this AOC designated area boasts breathtaking landscapes.
FINE, STRUCTURED, WITH BEAUTIFUL FLORAL NOTES
Along the limestone slopes overlooking the river, the AOC Premières Côtes de Bordeaux benefit from a particularly gravelly, chalky-clay soil and an oceanic climate. Its wines are fine, well-structured, and exhibit beautiful floral notes like linden and acacia.
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION
Its sweet wines originate from the vineyards of 39 communes that extend across the right bank of the Garonne river, south of Bordeaux. The grape varieties used are Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle. They are late harvest wines, produced using traditional winemaking techniques and aged from 10 to 18 months.
